Basically a trade catalog for the German architect and planner, featuring his domestic work in Hamburg. He offers a brief description of each house, explaining the circumstances of the design and sometimes including interior details: "The arrangement of this house as the residence of a wealthy family which desires to display a noble magnificence, will be easily understood by the plans. I may consider myself fortunate, that I was allowed to choose better materials than usual, even to give occasion for the application of sculpture and painting in the decoration of the apartment, etc." Item #007572
