Moscow: Project Russia, 1996, Catalog for the Russian Pavilion at the VI Venice Bienalle featuring unbuilt architectural plans and drawings from the Soviet era. The storage of the exhibition material is interesting: "Sixteen [flat] 30-file cabinets accommodating graphic sheets are to be arranged at random in the semi-darkness of the pavilion." There was computer referencing for viewers wanting to see a specific exhibit. With list and illustrations of some of the exhibits; a laid-in image shows the file cabinets as installed. Also with brief essay by Konstantin Boym. Text in English and Russian. First edition. 30 cm; 16 pp.; illustrated from photographs and drawings, in wall calendar format so beloved by Russians. Corners bumped; else very good in stiff card wrappers. (Item ID: 012977)
