One of the scarcer Bicknell compilations; Hitchcock finds only 3 copies and the current OCLC lists 4 (of which this, though ex-library, is not one). With nice examples of buildings in stone and in wood, including village schools and churches in a stick/shingle style, and larger city churches. Examples are mainly from Boston and New York, with one example from CA. Showing work by R. H. Robertson, J. Cleaveland Cady, John Davis Hatch, George T. Tilden, enwick & Sands, others.
