Plan, coupe, élévation et détails du nouveau marché St-Germain

Paris: chez l'Auteur et Dussilon, 1816. Item #013216

Blondel's monograph on the Marche Sainte-Germain, an early Parisian covered marked hall built 1813-1816. Showing ground plans. elevations, and illustrations of roof construction. This copy, however, while complete with 11 plates, title page, and two leaves of text, has been rebound in a reduced format, with the full-sized plates folded and bound on stubs, and the text leaves and t.p. have their bottom five inches folded to fit in the 4to format. Don't blame me--I didn't do it. First edition. 32 cm; 7 pp.; title page aerial vignette, vignette to text, and 11 plates. Modified as described, with some scattered foxing, in worn later cloth-backed marble boards.

Price: $300.00
