Scarce souvenir book published by the city detailing its history with typical municipal boosterism “...that Springfield may continue to justify its reputation as ‘A Host without Parallel’”, followed by illustrations of Corbett & Pell’s three buildings comprising the Municipal Group. The Group is a Civic Center of three buildings: a concert hall, a city hall, and a clock tower. Completed in 1912. First edition. 4to; 16 pp.; illustrated from drawings, some in color, and photographs. A very good copy in original embossed pictorial wrappers. Item #011084
