Slight wear to spine ends; mild bumping to corners; else a very good copy in original printed wrappers. A selection of designs for 27 wooden houses ranging from simple cottages to large contry houses, designed by the German architect. Albinmuller was associated with the Darmstadt-Kunstlerkolonie, the center of the Jugendstil movement in Germany from 1901 to the beginning of the World War. Included are illustrations from photographs of interiors and houses designed by Albinmuller for the 1914 Darmstadter exhibtion. With an introduction by Ernst Ludwig, Grand Duke of Hesse, the colony's patron. Scarce. Item #004643
